Leah Drobot has been trained in many different styles of dance, but started teaching ballroom dance over 4 years ago for Arthur Murray’s. She became an American style ballroom certified instructor and has been trained by many of Arthur Murray’s worldwide top professionals including: Snow Urbin, Mario Kraszeski, Bobby Gonzalez, and Agnes Kazmierczak.
In order to expand her knowledge and skill, she worked for a short time in Toronto and helped run a studio in Indiana. She was honored to be a professional dancer for the “Dancing with the Johnson County Stars Charity Event”, which raised over $100,000 for local charities. She was also a participant in “The Dancing with the Celebrities of Bloomington”.
After moving back to beloved Michigan, Leah decided to dip her toes in independent ballroom and see what it was all about. She fell in love. Her passion for ballroom dance, and drive to improve her skills, has never been more prominent. She recently had the privilege of being a professional dancer at the DSO Heroes Gala and conducted group lessons at The David Whitney in Detroit.
Leah is so excited to have the opportunity to share her love of dancing with others at The Dance Pavilion and cannot wait to be a part of everything to come throughout the Metro Detroit Area.
