Ashleigh Alarcon
Dance Instructor & Assistant Manager

Dancing has always been a part of Ashleigh’s life since the age of three. Tae Kwon Do, jazz, and cheerleading were early influences, but discovering Salsa while living in Chicago piqued her interest in Afro-Cuban rhythm and music. This led directly to her developing a passion for dancing as a career. She is part of the original staff of The Dance Pavilion.

As co-founder of Salsa 13 with Luc Tshiboyi, she has partnered with him in teaching and performing at various venues throughout Southeast Michigan.

Ashleigh is certified with high honors in the DVIDA curriculum and is an Assistant Master Teacher in the Teachers Ballroom Dance College which is taught at The Dance Pavilion.

As Assistant Manager she is involved in daily business operations and uses her Bachelor’s Degree in Merchandise Management, purchasing fashion clothing, shoes, and dance accessories for the studio store.

She continues to enhance her professional status by attending various workshops and classes which focus on advanced technique, styling and patterns. She is coached by Barry Douglas, Mark Brock, Bobby Green, and Diane Jarmolow.
